机构简介:

Their research group focuses on the theory and applications of multidimensional (MD) signal processing. Current and past work has been internationally and nationally recognized and has received a number of international and national awards.

They carry out research on such topics as:

Reduced complexity 2D/3D Fan/Cone FIR Filters for plane wave filtering and beamforming

Synthesis, design and real-time VLSI circuit implementations of 2D, 3D and 4D filters, including 3D Cone Filter Banks, for selectively filtering or jamming of spatio-temporal plane waves and beamforming

Enhancement of and tracking of objects in video sequences using 2D, 3D and 4D filters

object extraction from 4D lightfields using 4D filters

Real-time enhancement and jamming of sampled broadband spatio-temporal plane waves using Analog 2D and 3D filters

Adaptive 2D and 3D filters for Tracking Objects in Video Sequences and in Acoustical Images

3D modeling of Human Faces for Videoconferencing

Real-time enhancement of Damaged Movie Films

Real-time Data Hiding in and Watermarking of Video Sequences

Lossless Image Compression of Color Video Sequences

Image Compression Using Fractal Block Processing (see Michael Lazar' s page)

Simulation and Design Tools for 1D, 2D and 3D Filter Design (see Chris Kulach' s page)
